An Active Member is a dentist practicing in the geographical area of the Ottawa Dental Society as established by the Ontario Dental Association. Active Members in good standing have the right to vote and hold office. Good standing shall be defined as having paid the current membership dues for the Ottawa Dental Society and the Ontario Dental Association. All Active Members of the Ottawa Dental Society must be members of the Ontario Dental Association.
