An Active Associate is a dentist who is not eligible to join as an Active Member because they do not live or work in the geographical area of the Ottawa Dental Society. Active Associates must be members of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). Active Associates have all the rights and privileges of Active Members; however, they may not vote or hold office. Active Associates become affiliated upon application and payment of the current membership fee.
